MLA Krueger an embarrassment

In reply to Mr. Sallows’ letter (“No need to be nasty about it,” July 3) he makes it very hard to rebut his statements, in that he asks the questions, then answers them. The reasons I criticize Mr. Krueger is stated in your letter. I also have heard he is a hard worker but was an embarrassment to many people in the way he carried out his job. The Foghorn label came from the media.

He sat back during the last election and never said a word regarding HST and the size of the deficit. After he won his last term he stated that anyone who voted for the NDP should give their head a shake. To me this is insulting. Even the ones who didn’t vote for him deserve to be represented by their MLA, not called down by him.

He also embarrassed himself with his statements regarding Mr. Van Dongen and Mr. Dix. The Liberals have passed their best-before date and Mr. Krueger probably realizes this. If politicians want our respect, earn it.
