Artists, businesses needed for North Shore Artwalk

The annual event gives artists the chance to share, show and even sell their work through local businesses. The application deadline to take part is Friday.

Kathy Sinclair, manager for the Kamloops Arts Council, said the Artwalk is free to council members. There is a $30 fee for non-members. For more information go online to www.kamloopsarts.ca.

This year’s North Shore Artwalk runs for four weeks starting Friday, Aug. 3, with a kick-off event at Northills Shopping Centre on Saturday, Aug. 11.

Businesses interested in hosting artwork can download the application form from the arts council website.
