Author presents Hope, Faith and Empathy at book signing

An international speaker and First Nations consultant brings her tale of survival and irrepressible spirit to Bookland for a book signing on Friday.
Monique Gray Smith, a Kamloops-raised First Nations author, published her first novel, Hope, Faith & Empathy, last month and 1,500 copies have sold so far in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
She and copies of her book will be at the North Shore bookstore at 750 Fortune Dr. from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. She will read from Hope, Faith & Empathy at 12:30 p.m. For more information phone 250-554-2025.
Hope, Faith & Empathy is the story of Tilly, a young Indigenous woman growing up in Canada, and the individuals who helped shape her life.
